My breastfeeding journey with Shaklee

Alhamdulillah it has been almost 10 months I'm being Iris's milky bar. It is truly an achievement for me! If people asked me a year ago, could I breastfeed my daughter for 10 months? I know I would be doubting myself then, typical me, afraid to give hope to myself!! However deep inside, I would love to breastfeed my daughter for as long as possible.

I was very lucky because i was introduced to Shaklee trial pack for breasfeeding mommies since I got back to the office and since then I never missed my daily dose of vitamins. Alhamdulillah I managed to keep up with my daughter's demand and apart from the daily supply, I still have a deep freezer full of expressed breast milk.

Moved to a larger storage

Thanks to Shaklee for helping me provide the best to my baby. I believe everybody can do it, as long as you diligently pump, eat good food and get enough vitamins ( as for me I choose Shaklee!! ).

Dearest Iris...mummy Sayang sgt anak mummy. Iris adalah anugerah terindah buat mummy dr Allah. Mummy sgt2 bersyukur dianugerahkan anak yg sgt sempurna dan bijak. Mummy sanggup buat apa saja utk anak mummy ni. No matter what, mummy will try to be by your side . Mummy will try to be the best mummy to you, my lil angel. Harapan mummy agar anak mummy membesar dgn sihat Dan sempurna Dan menjadi insan yg berguna Dan anak yg solehah insyaAllah.. I love u sayangku Iris Afrina Mohd Aminuddin.. Forever...

Perasaan yang best & x best

Now, everyday going to the office is a drag to me. I really2 hate the idea that I have to do all the stuff that I forced myself to do. It does not make me happy so I am quite sure this is not what I want to do for the rest of my working life. I have my fair share of frustration throughout my 5 years working here. So I started thinking about doing something else. But still I need to consider a lot of things. It's ok.. Slow and steady wins the race.

Yang bestnye pulak is, currently I am the Cinta Agung of Iris's life hehehe. She prefer to be with me compared to anyone else. Especially when she just woke up from sleep. She wants to be cuddled and hugged by me. Even though she spent most of her time with my mum, once I got back from work she'll immediately crawl her way like some racer to me. I think we share a special bond therefore we love each others' company very much. I am also breastfeeding Iris, alhamdullah... Secretly wishing I could continue breasfeeding up to 2 years insyaAllah...

Pheww..

Woww it has been a cruel part of the year for me.. I have loads of works and not to mention an exam by the company for promotion! Yikes!! Am not the best student in uni, so likewise in the office. But still I tried my best and alhamdulillah, it wasn't that bad.

Iris is already a handful, she's almost 9 months and can already do a lot of stuff. She can crawl really fast now, sit by herself at any position, and is trying really hard to stand by herself. Org melayu kata "meniti". Hopefully she can walk soon, yeaa!!







Tomorrow we have a photoshoot by yellow cow studio. I bought a really great deal from milkadeal, rm75 for 1 hour outdoor shoot with 10 printed 4r and 2 8r, plus cd for the whole session. Best kan? Can't wait!!

Boring and non productive Monday

I am in no mood to do anything. Bosan. I wish i am at home. Making cookies and watching tv with Iris. It's ok, lunch hour i will drop by the gym for some exercise. Hopefully the lazy-bug will go away fast fast....meanwhile, enjoy some pictures of Iris @ 5months++

New Venture

I am currently involving in a new adventure, a new partnership.. It was actually my dream business but being a scholar to the company I have to serve the company for 5 more years before I could actually pursue my dream. Alhamdulillah with the grace from Allah, I saw an opportunity when a good friend of mine started the business..so I volunteered to be a partner. After some discussion and going around seeking for a good location we found a small but sufficient place for us newbies to start off. I will post pictures of our new venture.........
